The Dutch founders and owners of Houses of Asia, have started their first company in Tourism & Hospitality in 1984 in The Netherlands.

At the start in 1984, travel offers were limited to package trips, offered by big travel companies. During the years, travelling changed to a more individual way of moving around the world. Bali was properly one of the first destinations for free – minded travellers that organised their trips on their own.

In the last decennia, private villas and villa resort were established, next to the already existing hotel offers. Private villas were discovered by individual travellers as the perfect private stay. The demand since then is growing year after year.

Our move to Indonesia at the start of Houses of Asia in 2008 gave us the opportunity to start a villa rental & management company. We organised all aspects for private villa owners to grow to a profitable rental business. We set up the villa & fully controlled their rental business during the cooperation period. Houses of Asia offered daily management, reservation management and guest relations.

But we believe times are changing. Villa owners are finding a way to control and manage their property by themselves. They do no longer want to rely on and fully dependent on a management or reservation companies.

So now the time is there. This because all that is needed to start a rental business is available, from stream lining bookings, possibilities to guide guests and manage staff online are available at the moment.

Following the Desiree of having more control by villa owners, Houses of Asia made a change.

We combine all our experience we gathered in this field over the last 40 years to set up a  villa consulting company. We will guide and advise villa owners step-by-step in the process to a successful start a villa rental business. This can be from the start or to let your villa grow under your control.
